Mr. Martin has always been widely accepted as one of the most influential, provocative, and authoritative writers in the hemisphere, but his rise to stardom was anything but conventional. Born into unbelievable wealth and prestige as a member of European Royalty, Mr. Martin seemed destined for greatness; yet after failing to win the United States poet laureate prize two years in a row (1984-1985) high society wrote him off as a lost cause. Martin spent the next two decades searching for greatness as a haberdasher, numismatist, and mercenary. His big break came in 2005 at the Williams County, Iowa Fair when he won a blue ribbon for his baby Guernsey. Martin leveraged his new found stardom to launch himself into the business world where he excelled in cornering the world market in wood glue. The power and prestige that comes with being a titan of industry allowed Martin to pursue his loftier ideals, namely death and marriage. His career has recently culminated with a Frolf victory at the 2005 Worlds Pro course in Allentown, PA. Will his star continue to rise?
